Remember when History, Discovery & TLC actually had history, science, tech & nature programming?

Good news for us that enjoyed those types of shows. This will be nice to have available from the hopper, looking forward to signing back up to CuriosityStream - 1,500+ Documentaries On-Demand

The monthly fee will give complete access to their library, vod will be downloaded just like we do now with on demand. Not sure how this works with the wally unless vod actually streams. We'll find out for sure on 3/1.

I google CuriosityStream - 1,500+ Documentaries On-Demand plan start at 2.99 month listed from there website.
so it seems if you have welcome package then you cant order vod, you need flex plan and other different plans to have that package. um well welcome package users can just go
pay 2.99 a month via that website to order it there, not bad.

so welcome pack users just go to that website.
so its cool i might do that.
i still have so many other channels too. and i stream lots of movies too.

The short answer is no. If you've noticed, the new Dish business plan is to make more and more money from less and less subscribers.


I would recommend people check out TheGreatCoursesPlus.com, if you are really interested in an amazing amount of fantastic non-fiction content and courses. Makes this pale in comparison.

I thought you were asking if there is any free content for Dish subscribers There is no free content. You have to pay $5.95 for whatever docs they have available.

This was made available today, can be added in mydish under programming then add-on tab.

That type of programming is appealing, going to give it a spin.
