I have a couple of questions regarding internationals channels. What kind Reciver/ Dish would i need to capture channels from asia? For example a Korean Channel or Japanese channel. Would I need a Ku Band LBNF to achive this or would have to have C-band for this? The only thing i know is that i'll need a Bigger dish from 30' - 39 inch. The thing that bothers me is that i don't know what kind of reciver i'll need to achive this. Thanks in advance!! p.s...is C-band better then Ku Band?

Hello and WELCOME to the SatelliteGuys.US FTA forum!

There is one channel from Korea right now FTA on IA-5

Depending where you are in the US a 30" dish is the minimum that will work for KU signals, C-Band requires at least a 6' dish. Always better to get as BIG a dish as you can!

Any DVB receiver will work for KU and C-Band signals! Check the review area!

ALWAYS check the satellite BEAM or Footprint before you spend any money on a system!

This link should also help you read the Lyngsat charts!
