I am new to C Band but learning quickly. I can't find anyone in my area that knows anything about C band to get help. I have a 10' C Band Dish with a dual lnb mounted to it. One is a Cal Amp 140105-1 and the other is a Cal Amp CS42157-Pro which I have not been able to find any information about either. I am wanting to get The Walk-TV on Galaxy 19 at 97 degress w.l. and transponder 7. Can I use either of those lnb's to do this? If so which way would i need to turn the lnb assembly?

Either one will work. You have a set-up there to receive H and V at simultaneously. Vertical is all you need though if that is all you want to get.

BTW Welcome to SatelliteGuys!!

First stop: www.dishpointer.com
Got a multiswitch* between the receiver and LNB's? *preferably 'modded' to supply 18-24 volts to the LNB's.

To get just the Vertical Polarities. Make a direct coax connection to the LNB on the "Top"(the vertical polarity) Program transponder frequency 3850; SR 3531; Polarity Horizontal(sets LNB voltage at 18v - many LNB's don't like anything lower)
Aim dish for max Q. scan transponder, enjoy

Nice setup. Should receive those channels VERY well! What receiver are you using? We might be able to help with setting it up..
There are a couple of other channels on that satellite that you might like as well, would be worth while connecting both LNBs if you can.

Thank you all for the information. To answer the questions I have a Dawnco power inserter dc block DCP7A installed inline between the receiver and the lnb. The receiver is a Traxis DBS6000HD which the folks at The Walk TV helped me get programmed. I have not been able to get a signal yet. I have set dish to all the coordinates. I ordered a signal meter today and should have that in a few days to make sure I am where it is supposed to be and that the lnb is working. When we got this dish with the lnbs it was used and the guy said he thought one of the lnbs did not work. It might be the one I am using which is the one on top the Cal Amp 140105-1. Well if I ends up that is is bad do you all have a good cheap recommendation for an lnbf?
