Any news on the removal of Digital STB fees? Also what channels in the Tampa Bay/Plant City area shoud I be able to pull down with my new SDTV?

I'm getting (digital) 0, 38-001, 80-001, 80-002, 80-003, 80-004, 80-005, 89-057 (like I'll ever listen to the opera music, thanks), 91-001, 91-002, 91-003, 91-004, 91-005, 91-006, 106-001, 107-001, 110-001, 110-002, 114-005, 118-012, 119-001, 120-004, 610-001, 624-001, and 631-001. I've tried others that come up encrypted, scambled, or signal too low (this the the one that bugs me, I get everyting fine through the living room, but I have a box there).

Should I get more without box #2? I'm on a bundle with 15MBPS RR and Phone. Is there a better deal to get full digtial to both TV's? I'm not ready to part with another $6.95 a month quite yet...

Thanks for help and advice!

BHN does not offer "Clear Qam" service yet. So its hit or miss what you can get with your tv. The only way to get the channels advertised are with a box or cable card. You can rent the card for your tv for about 2-3$ a month

Cheap TV. CableCard's not an option. :(

Any idea on when the plan changes to eliminate the Digital Box fees is going to come about?

Thanks for the response, by the way.

Perhaps when they get rid of the analog lineup. But as it is the system is designed to move channels around as needed to free up bandwidth so what is on channel 1 today maybe channel 2 tomorrow and channel 8 the next day.

You do have the option of buying a converter box on your own and putting a cable card in it as well.. other then that well either enjoy the channels you can get or get a box are the only options left.

No more FSN and FSNHD?
