Apparently, according to another site; this press release is still an internal SC document.

I have no problem with it if the HD Extra is a bundle. I will just drop Prime Time and replace it with HD Extra. The only channel I would lose, that I watch, would be WTBS but I would gain National Geographic HD and Discovery HD.

Just 1 more reason, why SC subs (new and existing) should only buy HD receivers - even those without HD tvs

looks like im in line to upgrade my sc equipment to hd real soon, after i get a switch as anik 2 channels dont work for me yet, i need new multiswitch

Next year apparently. But existing HD channels will stay MPEG2 so that Cancom does not have to replace existing cable head end receivers.
