I can't imagine how they are going to deal with having so many different slots. Spaceway seems way smarter.

I doubt that anyone will need to see every orbital location that E* owns or leases, I suspect the extra locations will be used for HD locals, or possibly some National HD channels or some International channels. Most if not all of the SD local and core channels will remain where they are at now. The majority of E* subs will likely still get buy with just a Dish500, a modified Dish500 or a SuperDish, some may need some kind of combination of 2 dishes, but I doubt anyone will need more then 2 to receive the channels that they desire and can legally sub too. The current switches should handle any needed orbital location combinations just fine without resorting to the old fashioned rotor.
