Hi All

We just received in stock the new Fortec DYNAMIC FTA DVB Mpeg2 receiver.

This receiver replaces the Mercury II. It has the same features, f/w as the Mercury II. The only difference is the front faceplate is more advanced in the new DYNAMIC.

Looks like your container showed up!
Woo Hoo ! -- :up
New dishes. New receivers. What's next, new motors?

The receiver looks great.
Glad you have a good Fortec in stock - something for us to recommend.
(S-video as well as Component video outputs are always appreciated by those who know.)

Thanks for the update.

Yes, you are right. We got a 53' trailer full of products yesterday from Fortec.

We also got the 180 Polar mount style dishes back in stock.

New DG380 motors will arrive soon. Also, I am looking forward to the new GBox (V4000) coming in November or December if all goes well with the development team.

Sadoun, I could NEVER work in your receiving dept, I'd be taking goodies home instead of a paycheck!!! ...And probably owing $ each week too!:haha

Price? - - I wondered, too.
Click the link in Sadoun's post, and it'll take you to his site with more info, same pix, and the price.

And if I lived anywhere close to Sadoun, I'd come over and spend the day helping him unload the trailer...
... and take it out in trade... :D

I noticed - not as many buttons on the front panel as the MII.
Bob

Bob,

Actually it is the same number of buttons. That round looking knob on the left is actually a 4 button combo (UP/DOWN,LEFT/RIGHT). I like that better the MII buttons layout.

Price is the same as the MII.

Oooh. All of the sudden, I find myself looking forward to this, too!

A quick search of the web reveals some German sites already selling a V4000, but images look surprisingly (disappointingly?) similar to the GBox V3000.

Speaking of such, I sent a message the other day inquiring about V3000 availability, but have not received a response. Your site currently says ETA of a week ago. Of course, it doesn't matter now, since I'll likely wait for the V4000.

Any word on specs? As in, what makes this new version compelling?
