New PR Channels added at Last to Dish Latino Bonus Pkg

Hello to all my PR friends.


At last Dish added today channels 842,849,851,852 and 860 to de Puerto Rico/VI Dish Latino Bonus Package. Please verify your channel lineup and report. I have been fighting with Advance Engeniring Dptm over this and at last yesterday during the Tech Chat I got somebody that directly talked with the telemetry department and walaaaa at last. They activated them today specificaly to this bonus pkg. They were already working on Dish Latino Clasic and Higher packages but not on bonus pkg. I explained to them that it was not logical to have them on the other packges and not on the bonus since every other channels were already repeats of the other english language channels. So please verify and report if they are working for you. This channels are only for the caribbean islands of PR and USVI beeing transmited on spot beam 29 sat 110.
 
Yes, to get this new channels you have to have the Dish Latino Bonus Pkg in your case since you already have an American Pkg. The other way to get them would be geting the Dish Latino Classic and Up and for that you have to remove the american Pkg that you have. So in your case you would get charged $13.99 for the bonus. This is this way because anyway by having the american pkg you alredy get all the channels that the other Latino pkges include. The other Lationo pkg only add american channels to the mix. With the bonus you will get all the spanish channels missing fom the american pkges.
 
Call and Complain to the Advance Tech Dptm.

Yeah, you are right. I added a new reciver to my account this weekend and did not get the channels on that newly added reciver. But still, I got them on the others and I have the Dish Latino Bonus Pkg. What I did was I went ahead and called again to get them activated on the new reciver and aparently they are having some issues adding those channels to the Bonus Pkg. Don't understand it because a I do have them on the other recivers so What is the difference? Apparently what the telemetry department did was only add those channels to my recivers last week, so I stoped bugging them, and did not add them to the Bonus Pkg itself. What I did again this weekend is started bugging them again so they get the channels on the other reciver. So I guess you will have to call and start asking for the channels on your bonus pkg until you make them do it, the more people complain the faster they will work out the situation. Aparently I am not the only one asking for the channels because the Advance Technical CSR told me they have recived other calls about the same thing. Just call the advance tech department don't call the regular coustomer service CSR's.
 
You are right, the problem is only with the bonus pkg. I will PM you the number when I get this afternoon to my home. Right now I am at work.
