New OTA HD in Atlanta

In Atlanta, PBS station WPBA-DT (ch. 21) is now on the air transmitting 1080i. All of last night's (10/25) programming was upconverted 480i, but it looked very good (it looked better than some of the megabuck commercial station's upconversions in Atlanta).

Unfortuantely they are not broadcasting HD as of yet. They do not have the equipment. At least they are broadcasting in digital. If your interested in following the Atlanta OTA scene- http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/ahdtv/ They are strickly Atlanta local staion oriented.
