I really wish that they would just go by orbital locations... This will expecally confuse me sence my pansat doesnt display the location in any normal spot. It only displays in in the usuals screen. Oh happy times..

The days of the E and W bump buttons on the remote are gone....

yea tell me about it.. there is going to be a point where everything just interfears with everything and instead of scanning a bird, you will have to scan the whole arch. I hate it when the higher powered dbs sats interfear with fta during a blind scan. I have had the issue were E* sats will lock my pansat up. Dont ask me how or why, it on factory software, but it does it.

it shouldnt unless you are using a Universal LNB. Standard LNB will grab up to 12253 but thats it when you scan a linear satellite

What software is in your's Bob? I know there was an original software and an updated factory software out there. Updated cleaned up the bugs

If I remember right, the QPH-031 will sometimes scan in about 10 circular TP's on some birds. But I might be wrong....

change your scan range. a linear lnb will pickup circular signals, just the quality sucks bad.

almost all circular dbs sats start at 12224 (except 118.7) so if you set the scan range from 11700 - 12220 you'll pickup the linear stuff but not any of the circular. if your using a universal you can set the start freq 150 lower if you want.

118.7 is the exception as it uses freq typically alocated to linear but in a circular signal. but there is no linear on 119 anyhow so I cant see this being a problem.

Ice I'm using one of those .02 red lnbf's. The one you reviewed. Also the software is the latest from the site. Loader version 07, software version 1204, Build date Nov 01 2007. Right now I have my LNB settings in standard. with the lo 10750. No Disec switch in play. Line goes from pansat straight to motor.

"FTA" is "hacked Dish" to some

To C or not to C?
