Had dish installed today. Superdish for 105 and 110 with a seperate dish on 119 due to line of sight.
110 Odd are bad. Here are the sig levels on some:
110-8 - 10
110- 9 - 48
110-10 - 48
110-11 - 0
110-12 - 93
110-13 - 0
110-14 - 90
110-15 - 0
110-16 - 89
110-17 - 0 (where my HD package is,,,,)
110-18 - 89
110-19 - 39
110-20 - 85
110-21 - 49
110-22 - 97
110-23 - 48
105 - 1 - 73
105 - 2 - 75
105 - 3 - 75
105- 4 - 76
105-5 - 73
105 -6 - 75
105-7 - 76
105-8 - 75
105-9 - 78
105-10 - 82
105-11 - 77
119 - different dish pointing to only 119
119 - 1 - 116
119 - 2 - 99
119 - 3 - 112
119 - 4 - 97
And so on. As you can see, for certain transponders, the signals stink. I think the installer peaked on110 - 20, or at least that was the transponder he had up when he showed me the signal. Could the skew be tweaked to get a tradeoff? I did this on DirecTV once to peak a signal. But how bad these are startles me. And the odds are the normal frequency signals with the evens being the higher stacked frequencies, so that would eliminate connections, I would think.
The installer will be here in the morning to change out a receiver he thought was bad, but his assistant hooked up the wrong outputs of the 522 to the sets and it works fine now.
