New home, existing dish. need help setting it up

Just moved into a new home. Previous owners prior to me appear to have been set up for cable because there is a litany of cable splitters downstairs and the last time I worked with satellite they were not compatible with splitters. I've attached a picture of the dish I have. There are only 2 lines coming down from it. I have two recievers, d12-500 and HR-22 from an old installation. I cannot locate a multiswitch anywhere so I am kind of clueless as to where to start.

Will either of these recievers be compatible with this dish?
What would I need included in this setup to make it work fully?

That's a Phase III dish. Both boxes will work, but the HR22 won't get hd channels. You should replace it with a Slimline and swm lnb.
