These answer a serious need. Before the motorized Slimlines, you had to use a hand-aimed tripod setup to get DIRECTV HD. DISH Network was looking awfully good to the RV crowd as all of their HD programming was (and still is) available using old school dishes.That would make sense seeing it covers both the KA as well as the KU.

so when and if they go HD with the carryout....will I have to buy a brand new one or do you think I will be able to convert it ?
