I currently am "moved" to Baton Rouge. I am in the Monroe area. 77 is not cool. Dish had better be ready to absorb some cost because Direct is looking good with the locals coming real soon.
I will not move back to Monroe until I can figure out what I havr to do to get my locals in HD.
If you set the timer to record on OTA then it is an OTA timer. It will not switch to satellite, at least not that I have found. Not sure about DishPass as I don't use that.
One change to list...Macon will not launch.
Launching to customers on 8/11/2010:
Augusta (119 Spotbeam)
5270 WJBF HD (ABC)
5271 WRDW HD (CBS)
5272 WAGT HD (NBC)
5273 WFXG HD (FOX)
5274 WCES HD (PBS)
5275 WEBA HD (PBS)
I'm just waiting for Quad Cities we have been told about 4 times that we were getting our locals. hope today is the day
The stations do not always know if there is negotiations going on or not. Dish usually does contracts with the Station Owners & not with the stations themselves.
For Example: Non of the Bangor Stations know anything about HD Locals being launched at all.
the station manager should know
No locals in Augusta yet...
any locals or just hd?
dish does have 100% coverae ya know, just look on thier website
