New HD Customer as of 9/18/08

If i have timers that are set up to record on some sort of regular basis, will those automatically restore, or will i have to go through and reset up all my daily and weekly timers? or does this just affect the timers that are just set for "once", such as a movie?

also, i notice you are using a winegard for your Hd antenna. I too need to get one, and have read reviews, and have seen that winegard seems to get some of the best reviews. I live in shreveport, Louisiana, and there's not many places around here to get an outdoor antenna, which is what i need (I've found plenty of indoor antennas around town, and even tried an indoor, but got lots of pixellation). did you get your winegard online, you did you find a local retailer?

I would guess all the timers. I had my mapdown turned off before I set my timers.

The Winegard I use is mounted outside. Vertually no multipath problems. I'm 20 miles from the transmitters. This antenna runs every receiver, every TV listed with out an amp with signals over 95. Went through many antennas until I found this one. Bought it online.

Yes, all timers die after turning off the mapdown. They are still in the Timer list, but they show as channel 001.
