There will be both a push and regular CE tonight (Tue) for version 113F. If you submitted to be on the push list, you should get this pushed. If you are not on the push list, you can pull it between 8 and 11 PM PST (11 pm to 2 am EST). The National Release build will be placed back in the stream after 11 pm PST.
Cool, I was unable to get in on the push, so I can pick it up tonight ...

Very interesting ...

Just downloaded what appears so far to be a new NR "1140," since it's exceeded the normal CE window 8-11 PM (PST) Fri. and Sat. And because it's greater than the latest special CE "113F" d/I'd last Tuesday, so wanted to give it a try.

And then saw some strange local channel changes listed from the AM21 connected to my HR54. So decided to re-run the OTA channel setup on it.

And now the AM21 is detecting "All" local received channels in or outside the database. With those not specifically in the OTA database have no program descriptions, but just a continuous time block of "Regular Schedule."

Wow ... haven't seen that feature from the Genie + AM21 ever since the pre-AT&T DIRECTV removed it many years ago. Much to the disdain and disappointment of many at the time.

Wonder if it'll be a permanent feature this time around, and not just an "unintended," "surreptitious" one, as DIRECTV engineering called it at the time. As their excuse for removing it.

Must have been a CE as "1104" is back in the stream now .. .

So either the FW Watcher is slow or "1140" just stayed in the stream somewhat beyond the normal CE window ...

I grabbed the 1140 Friday night which upgraded my 1104. since the upgrade apps do not work, & on demand doesn't work. apps wont even show up. from what I understand it could take a day or so for those features to show up again. but should it take this long? I don't even have channel logos in the banner. this morning I did a clearmybox hoping it would work. last time I did a clearmybox everything was back to normal in about 2hrs. is there something im overlooking here? anyone else having this issue with 1140? other than the app issue I kinda like it. ...thanks.

That’s because CE’s need a code word entered for all features to work. If you want to participate then I suggest you join the program

Although the program doesn't document the code well in this case, so I will say it here.

One needs to press menu-->search-->keyword-->type "IAMANEDGECUTTER-->continue--> etc.

The question can be asked quickly once joining the program


And then we will continue to wonder why the programs future is cast in doubt when we keep discussing it outside of the program

I can see this both ways ....
Directv does not say that no one can download the software if they don't belong to that site.
We HAD a CE program just like the other site awhile back.
We had the same info sent to us ...

Yes, it would be nice, but I don't complain when people ask questions about it elsewhere.

It's discussed all over the place, a google search would pull up the info. AT&T doesn't support the site or have any involvement, rather indirect from someone who works for AT&T which keeps the site alive. All one is really getting is information that a CE will be coming down and discussion around it. Idea is you see a problem you report it and the site moderators share with AT&T and or via the end user submitting the report from the menu when you enable that feature. Years ago when DTV management was at the helm I would say it was truly respected and looked upon for feedback. So it was used as testes for spotting issues or bugs to be reported. Not looking to give any trade secrets away as there are none to give but I only responded back with the search code because it's nothing secret that this point.
