This green problem is the damnedest thing I've ever encountered in a digital device! First, if you're connected to the composite output and you have the receiver in an HD mode, the screen that it puts up on the composite output in SD that says it can't display anything DOESN'T have the green tint!

This is the maddening thing for me. If they could just get rid of that nag screen or have it time out after awhile, behind it is a good picture. I watch the HDMI output which has a good picture no mater what the video is set to, but I send it simultaneously from the composite av output to several other tv's in my home via an rf modulator. The green tint is a bummer for a set that is used on several other video sources.

Well I didn't know there are sets with custom color tweaking for each input. 5 of the 6 tv's in my home are older crt jobs. When I correct the tint for the FTA input then switch to cable channel line up everybody is now too red. My wife watches these tv's the most, this isn't going to work for her channel flipping habits. The living room tv is lcd and looks great on the HDMI input no matter what the video mode is set to on the OpenBox.
