Nel...do u have a comparision of Signal strength for this new Dish500PR vs the current setup that we use ie 4 footers.

I will have one soon! with 119

But I will not change my 4.5 footer for the small dish pro, It has been raining alot here and I am still having rain fade problems with 119.

Alignment Tps for both locations are around (110)62% and (119)68%

Since the last 2 new bird on 110 we have had Spotbeams for us In Puerto Rico.


Second it's time we become a state we will have a plebiscte voting on this next year!

Completly off topic but have to agree with this one. It is about time!!!
Puerto Rico 51st State. Maybe next year when we vote for this issue.

So they are converting completely over to 8PSK in June? That means all 301 receivers will also be useless if that is the case.

Nope, the process starts with all new customer activations with Mpeg4 receivers, but all legacy customers like 90% of the PR database will keep their Mpeg2 receivers until the mass exchange from Dish is peformed. I stated 90%, maybe more because even though there's a huge pile of VIP receivers active, the fact is that most of them have 301/311 receivers as secondary.
