With how good the HR24 is, I don't think the new Tivo is needed. I guess the only people who will be interested are the Tivo diehards.
I am a die hard.
Is the HR24 interface the same as all the other receivers? If so what makes it better? Looking for honest feedback here.
Oh Thank God!

D* got it right with the new HR23.
Not sure oh thank god is agood thing .
last year the tivo page for our reference tool say it be our q42009 then it was q1 2010 now q4 2010.
If they don't show it at CEDIA in September then I don't think we will see it this year.
Oh that is not good. I guess maybe I'll call and get a couple HR24's
It is not that I dislike the D* interface, it is just very clunky and slow. With TiVo I liked the colors, searches, and accurate guide data.
When I moved Spokane, I bought a TiVo HD to stream Netflix and move shows to my Mac. I liked it, just things the inventor still does better, IMHO.
