The answer is most likely no, but do you think existing subs could get any sort of break if we get both.

Never hurts to try. You'd likely have better luck cancelling and just becoming a new customer. Sign up under your wife (user her maiden name if you have to) or another family members. New contract you might as well get the latest and greatest gear.

For sports fans, that is by far the best deal Directv has ever offered.
I would jump on it but the equipment I want would cost $298. Work is slow right now so it's not in the current budget.

wow, would not budge. said i had to pay over $400 to get the new genie and would not offer any deals. said their were no promotions for me
