How do I program my new Dish controller to my Dish? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Can you please clarify and we'll try to help. Are you talking about a new remote controller and a set top box? If so what box do you have? If you are talking about something else please explain.

I have Dish Satellite service with a box. I broke my old controller and got a new but it needs to be programmed to the box.

what receiver model do you have? you should have model number in front of the box

Theres 301 in the bottome left corner and an mpeg2 in the bottm right corner.

ok pull the smart card out in left corner of the receiver

it's going to switch to System info on a bottom of the screen it will say remote address. what number is it?

then press and hold SAT button on remote, until all 4 lights light up. press the number that is on your screen, to the match the remote, then press pound( # ) light will flash 3 times. then put the card back in receiver will re set it self and remote should work
