BBC World News to Replace EuroNews

Effective Friday, April 28, 2006, BBC World News will replace EuroNews in all service areas. EuroNews will no longer be available.

BBC World News will be available on channel 103 (or 113 in Bridgeport, New Haven and Norwalk) as part of the iO $9.95 package and above. BBC World News will also be available to business customers as part of the iO Entertainment Advantage and iO Business Advantage packages. An iO digital converter or a CableCard equipped cable-ready TV is required.

A communication will be included in March billing statements beginning the week of February 27th, 2006, informing customers of this expected change.

Howard Stern On Demand

Thanks to the countless programming requests that we received, we were able to push the negotiations of this particular program.

This SVOD is expected to be available for purchase for $9.95 by all customers who have a digital box. The launch is scheduled to occur on March 14th, and interested iO subs can purchase Stern OD via the digital set-top box on channel 900 or on channel 513, its new channel position.

No new HD channels, that's dissappointing. Nothing about SportsnetNY, yet . I think Cablevision has bandwith issues. They need to get rid of more analog channels and move them to digital quicker.

nothing on sportsnetny yet, however I suspect if we do get it that they will make the announcement the day before or the day the channel goes live. Just like they did when we finally got yes.
