I watched Threshold last night and the first 5 minutes was upconverted video and I was about to turn it off when it turned to real HD. I think the first 5 minutes was upconvert due to the content. This movie must have been shot on 16mm film as it was extremely grainey and a bit soft. I watched Karen Sisco later (I'm still pissed at ABC for cancelling this show ) and she looked very nice , oh, and so did the show.
