I am on the Yahoo mailing list of James Lloyd's Christian Media out of Oregon. He launched a new channel on Wednesday. I am passing this information to others who might be interested in receiving his new channel. I am not connected with Christian Media or James Lloyd, but have been listening to him since the 1990's.

Dear Friends,
Christian Media successfully launched our Satellite feed for the Television Network CMRI.tv on Wednesday, October 21st 2009. Although the TV net has been on the Internet for two years, this puts CMRI in the amazing position of being the first alternative TV network in the world with Remnant and Patriot programming.

To view the Satellite feed, you need a ku band FTA (Free To Air) Dish. We're on Galaxy 19, Transponder 27, Frequency 12177, Symbol Rate 23000. Those who have ku dishes know the receivers have something called Blind Scan, or Full Scan, which means the receiver automatically scans the Satellite to find new channels. Since CMRI is a new channel, you'll need to do a new scan to bring it in. On the digital screen, it will show you CMRI TV.

We're still tweaking the signal, but Christian Media is now broadcasting Television 24/7 all across America on Satellite!
If you can swing it, a Satellite is without a doubt, the best way to stay in touch with the fast moving events of the end times.

I did a rescan on the Fortec Star Lifetime Classic NA . It showed up in the scan, but when going through the channel list after updating CMRI does not show up. Has anyone been able to get the channel? Do I have to enter it manually?

logs here fine. Just scanned it in. Did a manual scan (transponder scan)

shows as "CMRI TV"

Thanks for the screen shot of CMRI.

I had blind scanned, and didn't receive CMRI, I tried auto scan no dice on the Viewsat. I had to manually put in the VPID, APID and PPID to receive it on the Viewsat and it gets it fine now.

The Fortec Star Lifetime NA is a whole different beast. I go to enter it manually, it says No input PID then I hit OK, it saves it as TV-7 except when manually looking for it there is no TV-7. I'll figure it out...I'll check the manual online.

I think I need to stop buying these "bargain" receivers on E-bay...lol

What happens when you scan the transponder? Possibly the slot where this channel is use to be where another channel was. You know some of these TP's cycle channels through them like I change socks :)

The Lifetime is a great reciever

The CS5000 usually will log the new name if a channel changes info. Seen that happen on those TP's on 97W....the old Daystar TP now has a new channel name when I scan it. It automatically changed it. Some receiver wont

This gave me a idea, on the Fortec, I deleted all the channels in memory on 97W and then rescanned them. Sure enough, CMRI is now there on Channel 146..working great at 55 to 60 PQ.

Thanks

I watched a few minutes of this channel today, a strange mix of religious themes and 'Out There TV' -type conspiracy theory ideas. New World Order takeover plans, etc.

Oh, I hate those NWO conspiracy the government is out to get us Christian channels.
I was watching one the other day, Pretty good music videos until they started on how the USA is building prison camps for Americans that don't take a flu vaccine.

DD that's exactly what one part of the show was talking about this morning! I'm waiting to get my "Brainwashed and Buffaloed" bracelet so I can continue to travel thru the police checkpoints.
