I am running my own test today.
I have set PBS HD East on 125W to record for the next 22 hours. If there is a limit, I suspect I will find it here. If there isn't a limit, I doubt anyone will care that I am able to record 22 hours as a single file since no one would normally want to do such a thing in the first place, except out of curiousity.
I don't know what this PBS HD channel has for a bit rate, but since the programming is 24/7 and it is HD, it should at least roll up the miles faster than any other signal that I can acquire for this long of a period. I don't think that I will FTP the record file over to my PC to determine the precise file size. That would require a lot of time that I don't wish to spend. The file size as indicated on the AZBox will be rounded off, but if the file size is going to be proven to be massive, it really won't matter.
