At the top of every page, are little postage stamp sized advertizements for three of our sponsors who sell FTA equipment to the public:
SatelliteAV
Sadoun
GOsatellite
Any of them would be able to sell you a 36" dish and linear LNB for FTA use.
Since you don't have a receiver yet, you might want to look into one of the package deals, with everything you need.
All the dealers have them. Several promote the Fortec Star Mercury II receiver, and it's first rate.
If you shop elsewhere (such as eBay, or internet searches), be careful that you understand what you are buying.
If you are not sure, we can certainly help you, there.
Further, the following channel lists will acquaint you with the programming on FTA.
beginner list, just to get your feet wet.
better list, hosted here at SatGuys, with more detail.
complicated list, but good additional source, depending on what you seek.
lyngsat, harder to read, and not always up to date, but another resource.
Note,
none of the pay-channels are available.
If those are what you seek, then you have the wrong receiver, and will need to subscribe to Dish, DirecTV, etc.
