New 622 deal--can keep 942 and not get $100

I think Michelle is incorrect. Why would they remove the MPEG2 HD channels?

I was just told on the phone by a very nice Michelle in Tech Support that if I swapped my 301 for the 622 (instead of swapping out my 942) that because of the metal pack update, my 942 would become a standard box, receiving only SD stations and OTA HD.

Doesn't sound right, but that's what she said...perhaps I should call back later.

The 942 will still get all the MPEG2 channels, including Voom.
