Does anyone know if I can activate this reciever without first running the second set of lnb's to the unit, I am planning on doing so, it just requires getting under the house and all, and I would like to go ahead and setup the unit with the one set that is already in place and then run my second set later if possible, It will be replacing my 501 which I will move to another room.
On another topic, does anyone know if I will have any trouble activating this reciever since I didnt buy my original equipment, ive had for 4 years now? I leased them, I have a 501, and two 301 recievers, what I would like to do is give dish back the two 301 recievers and hook up my new 522 and keep the 501.
