Networking HR20 with WRT110?

I cant get my HR20 to recognize the internet from my Linksys WRT110. I'm using one of the ports with a hard wire. Ive tried many combination of IPs and such with no luck and Directv is of no help. Anyone have specific help 4 me?

u do know it takes 24 hours before programming shows up in the on demand , right?

it depends on your network... but most of the time it takes up to 24 hrs

But it won't occur at all unless there is an internet connection, which the OP states isn't happening.

What else is connected to the router?

When you say you've tried various IP addresses, is there any reason why you're not using DHCP on the router?
