Netflix.....Both

i believe I had to set up my account for one and then go back in and set up for the other. When you get it all set up you can select DVD, HDDVD or Blue Ray in your cue when those formats are available.

Netflix & Blockbuster

Netflix you enroll for HDDVD and/or BR. When you do you get an option to have preference for the HD DVD or BR disk over std DVD. I like this feature as I would prefer to get the the high def version if available. It also means I don't have to do a lot of searching to see if the HD version is available. :)

I am signed up for both. It seams to me they also ask what your preference is as a default if it is available in both formats but I am not sure of that.

They also have a list for both you can go to to see what is available in each format and what is soon to be available.

Block buster seams to have abandoned the format. They still carry HD but it is obscure. They stopped providin separate lists. You have to manually choose a HD selection over SD. The only way you know if it is available in HD is to click twice to open the selection and go to a tab that list the available formats (SD-FS, SD-WS, HDDVD & HDBR). Only then can you order it.

I find that many HD disk are out on new movies and they are available from Netflix but not Blockbuster.

If you into HD, Netflix is the ticket.

I second that, I really like Netflix. I'm at 3 @ a time and average at least a dozen movies a month. I've used them for HD DVD for over a year, and they have just about everyone. I just recently got a PS3, and also enabled my account for blu-ray. Very easy process, and as swade indicated, you can set your preference. I have mine for HD DVD as 1st choice, then blu-ray, then DVD. Once I did that, it went right through my queue and changed every DVD I had over to blu-ray when available. Smart folks at Netflix. :up
