Starting this month, Netflix is rolling out changes to its basic ad-supported plan. The popular streaming platform announced video quality will improve from 720p to 1080p while also expanding to let subscribers stream on two supported devices at once.

Again, no interest in a ad supported plan, if it is forced on to me, I drop the service.

But there are folks who do have interest and that is why I posted it. Considering the price is less than 1/2 of the "standard" plan (15.49 vs 6.99) for some folks its a way to get Netflix.

I imagine they are trying to reduce the sting of password sharing changes by throwing in a few extras.

I don't really mind ads but I do want the best quality picture and sound which is normally the ad free tier.
