I would like to make changes to my disk installation, but don't understand what I need to do to get what I want. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Currently I have a legacy dish 500 system configured as follows:
dish1: Dish 500 pointed at 110/119 - Quad LNB with integrated switch. output 1 connected to 2800 receiver. output 2 connected to 301 reciever, output 3 connected to DVR 510. output 4 connected to SW21
dish2: Dish 500 pointed at 61.5 - dual LNB. output 1 connected to SW21. output 2 unused.
Output 4 of dish1 and output 1 of dish2 are both connected to a SW21 which is then connected to a HD6000 receiver.
The only feed I care about from the 61.5 sat is the NY CBS HD feed.
I would like to replace the 2800 receiver with a DVR 522 and I would like to replace the HD6000 receiver with a DVR 921. I believe I need two more feeds to accomplish this.
What I would like to know is the most efficient way of replacing my LNBs/switches to get them.
Will a DP twin LNB on dish1 and DP single on dish2 run through two ganged dp34 switches work? Is there a better solution?
Thanks in advance.
