Hi everyone,

I successfully installed an SWM LNB last night. It's so much nicer to only have a single cable run coming through the patio door into the condo, rather than four. And it'll make putting up crown molding over the cable run so much easier.

Anyway, I imagine I have to return the old 5-ball LNB, right? Do I just call into D* and tell them I want to return the LNB, saying I put in an SWM LNB? Just wondering if there's some quick route through the phone tree to return the LNB without getting too many questions or clueless confused people. :)

Thanks!

Yea, save the call for another day & store it away in your garage. Maybe if you move you can take your SWM equipment with you & pop in the 5lnb.

Funny, when you aren't a Dish customer anymore, they want the lnb back.

I kept my old LNB when I made the switch to SWM LNB. I keep it as a souvenir. I don't think DirecTV even know that I have SWM as I got mine from eBay.
