I live in New Jersey and have a house in Scranton. I have dish network at the house in Scranton with no problems, had the tech come in and set it up. Everything works great. The house in New Jersey is surrounded by trees and a technician already came out last year and said he couldn't find a strong enough signal. I don't think he really checked too hard.
But I still want to get dish network here and there are some spots where I might be able to get a clear shot. I have a rough idea of the position of the satellites but they where different than where the technician was looking. I have been looking at 110W and 61.5W. I believe those are the two I would need here, but I'm not completely sure.
So my questions are
A. Which satellites should I be looking for? (i have a program called dish pointer on my phone so i use that and a compass)
B. How far from the receiver can the dish be?
