Need Setup info for a Hughes LNB

I have a Hughs LNB
FSS 10.95-12.75
HNS P/N 1500242-0001

It is still mounted on it's original HughesNet dish and works fine for Ku. I wanted to try for a channel on 12.5w which is below the standard range of 11.7-12.2. I tried several settings for a universal lnb, and combinations of 22k on and off. I normally run it at 10750, 22k off, all TP's scan in at the correct freq. Anyone have one of these and know how to set it to receive 11622 ?

I've always used standard, 10750, 22K off with all DW/HN LNBs. Possible you don't have the box set to scan that TP range?
 
We must assume that the correct LO frequency for this LNB is 10750 since your blind scans are the correct frequency. Using LO 10750 and trying to tune 11622, your receiver would need to tune 872MHz, which is below the usual IF frequency range used for DVB receivers. Calculate 11622 - 10750 = 872. Most DVBS receivers tune IF 950MHz to 2150MHz.

I do not know this as fact, but would assume that HughesNet receivers either tune lower IF than most DVBS receivers or use a unique LO frequency along with 22KHz tone?

Example: The 22KHz - ON might trigger a 2nd LO frequency of 9750 or other? Have you tried turning 22KHZ on and performing a blind scan with LO frequency of 9750 or 10600 or other instead of trying to detect SQ on 11622?

The LNB low frequency of 10950 would indicate that there is either a secondary LO or stacking? The math would indicate that 10950 - 950 = 10000. Might this possibly be a second LO with 22KHz - ON? Anyone????

Yes I tried several combinations of lnb freq and 22k on or off. Observing the spectrum analyzer shows a large change when you toggle 22k on/off, so there is something that is changing. Funny is other universal lnb's I've worked with if you set a fixed 10750 you must turn 22k on. This one it has to be off.
