Proof??? Link???
You DO realize that except for the Ho's/Jo's & 211z's, ALL other of their current HD receivers DO have coax outs...nor have they even talked about stopping those type of HD receiver installs.
edit: fixed model# to 211z
Brain fart

The tv2 out will provide coax to tv1 or 2, you just go into the settings (menu 6-1-5) and set the modulator to air or cable.722K's do not have coax outs w/o a modulator.
Yes it does. It doesn't have an OTA tuner without a module...722K's do not have coax outs w/o a modulator.
D-500 with a legacy LNB is all that he can have as a 4900 will not work with a DP LNB....I don't see anything in this menu labeled "switch/LNB". Under "Device" it says "500 twin". Under "DNASP" it says "522 DshN09" and under "Hardware" it says "DMDJ-N".
Does any of this tell you?
What about with a legacy adapter?D-500 with a legacy LNB is all that he can have as a 4900 will not work with a DP LNB....
Or a DPP twin which doesn't need an adapter and fits the dish 500 mount. What about with a legacy adapter?
AFAIK, that didn't work when you are using a single (non-DP) receiver on this LNB, as the receiver does NOT provide enough power for the LNB/legacy adaptor. It would ONLY work if you had another DP receiver on the same LNB.Or a DPP twin which doesn't need an adapter and fits the dish 500 mount.
That may have been true but all Legacy receivers are being discontinued and replaced with current receivers that would power a DPP LNB.AFAIK, that didn't work when you are using a single (non-DP) receiver on this LNB, as the receiver does NOT provide enough power for the LNB/legacy adaptor.
