If that is the case then why couldn't I just somehow Unbolt my existing Tee-Comm LNB that is connected to my existing Chaparal unit and add a new type of LNB to it?? It does say Chaparal on it!!

yes you can do that for c-band only

so if I understand you, after purchasing a Corotor II I would still need to buy an LNB for it??

yes most likely, unless you have found a package deal this is why after everything is done with.... it places the corotor in the $150 range and even more if you try to get the norsat lnb's

Thanks a lot George, as you have previously suggested - will the Existing Tee-Comm LNB that is already on my Chaparrel mount also get me C Band??

Guess I'll look into finding out the diameter of a BSC-621-2 LNB, otherwise as you have said I will need a whole new setup for my 4 FeedHorn Poles and Scalar!! Or maybe the Invacom - need to do some research here.

after looking at your scaler , you infact have a unique one it clamps onto the feedhorn unlike most scalers that the feedhorn slides in and out of the scaler. so with this information i suspect that you should be able to fit most all of them in it ( if you used the asc421 you would probably have to shim it)

if you measure the feedhorn ( the part covered by the blue cover) remove the cover and measure the feedhorn .

my chaparral scaler is 2 21/32 inches
chaparral feedhorn is 2 20/32 inches
bsc 621 scaler is 2 22/32 inches **
bsc 621 feedhorn 2 21/32 inches
** scaler has standouts to support the feedhorn.

in most cases you would have to grind a bit of the chaparral scaler for the bsc621 to fit (slide in) but with yours being a clamp type scaler you shouldn't have to just insert it.

but here's what i would think on getting the correct focal distance for your dish. your scaler is almost non adjustable so hopefully its close. then when you insert the feedhorn into the scaler it should all fall into place. so try your current lnbf see what the signals look like and we will work from there. :)

Thanks George the part of the LNB assembly covered by the blue cover is exactly 2.5 inches in diameter. So is it too small? The Scaler Ring (itself) outside diameter with everything removed is 6.75 inches - the inside diameter of the Scalar Ring is 6.5 inches.

I will be digging a Trench from the back yard to the house tomorrow to bury the Ribbon Cable tomorrow, and will need to get Compression RG 6 Connectors on Both Ends of the Cable once I know the exact length I need - but I think it is about 110 feet.

yeah its a bit smaller than my chap , and a little more smaller than a bsc621

i like compression fittings , i bought my own set , if i would have thought i would have done that one up already then you wouldn't have to trim or cut it. lay out all the cable and make sure you have it all in place hopefully there will be enough cable :)
