need magnavox lcd tv codes for directv

I have a magnavox 15mf400t/37 lcd tv. I'm trying to program my directv remote for this tv. I've called direct and magnavox and tried the codes they gave me, but nothing is working.
Is it possible that some other tv code will work with magnavox?
Or can the remote have a "bad" something?

The manual codes for Magnavox TV's are 11454, 10054, 10030, 10706, 10179 & 11254.

The receivers auto mode should be able to find the correct code using the remote: Menu>Setup>System>Remote>Program Remote>TV

You could also try the manual way:

1 Hold SELECT and MUTE until the light flashes
2 Type 9-9-1
3 Type 1
4 Press PWR
5 Aim your remote at your TV, and press CHAN UP until your TV goes off.
6 When it turns off, press select

That's how I got my remote to work on my OLEVIA.
