Our church took advantage of a special offer from Skyangel over 7 years ago. Buy 9 lifetime subs and get another for free, We got nine members to subscribe and got our free system. The problem - the system has not been used for a while and the member who set it up is no longer available. The wiring to the dish has been disconnected and we can't find the paperwork to get it going again. Any suggestions? The dish has two LNB's labelled 110 & 119 degrees but the receiver (DISH model 2700) only has one "satellite" input.
Should I connect the lead from either LNB? Does it matter which one?
I have the azmuth and elevation settings.
Thanks

Try one cable first and see if you can receive Angel 1. If you can't then try the other cable. Since you have not had the system connected for a while you might not be able to get the other Sky angle channels. If the other channels do not show up you will have to call sky angel and tell them that you have had the system disconnected for a while. Sky angle will send a signal to re enable your receiver.

You will also need a current subscription card that should have been sent to the subscribed address within the past two years. If you did not activate a replacement subscription card in the past few years, you will need to get the replacement and activate before receiving the Sky Angel programming.
