need help with remote for tv 3

I have a 322 and my son hooked up a 3rd tv and I bought a remote for it...everything was working fine for the past two years...then had to replace the 322 as it was knocking out telephone ground and we were getting no phone calls if the 322 was plugged in....now since I got new receiver (322) I can't remember how I programmed the remote for it (senior moment?). Can anyone help me...it used to do it all, volume, off/on, change channels etc. Now it will not change channels!

take the remote to tv1. use tv one remote to bring up the sys infor screen(press menu butten twice) then pick up the remote for the third room. press the sat butten(thats just press it, dont sit there and hold it down) then press the record butten. this will synch up the remote with the reciever.
