Need Help with MY H20!!!

Ok guys, as some of you may know, I recently got a new H20 to replace the one that was re-setting all the time. Well I got the new H20 in the mail today, hooked it up. called directv to activate and here is where the trouble starts. I am getting the banners on each channel (telling me what channel I am on and info) but no picture. I was on the phone with DTV for a hour re-setting this re-setting that!. They are going to send a tech out on the not untill the 28th!!!

Need help!!!. If anyone can help or offer suggestion on what might be wrong, please let me know. I may have to hook up my re-booting one untill the tecs come out

Assuming you tried the obvious, otherwise sounds like it could be a DOA unit.

Instead of rebooting...

Pull the power plug for a few minutes.

else... pull the batteries from the remote... it is possible a button is stuck.

Also, try to force a software download... 02468 when you see the first screen come up... that "should" reset any faulty software in the unit.

hooked up the old reciever...looks like the DOA theory is the one...Going to send this one back.
