This is not a FTA question but I know you guys work with lyngsat and different transponder frequency's.
My question concerns the frequency's listed on lyngsat. For instance I am a Hughesnet technician and say if I am pointing to AMC 3, transponder 6k. Now when we put in 6k freq in a modem which is for just about every satellite we use a 6k on we put in 1070. Then every 1K point we add 20, 7K=1090, 8K=1110, 9K=1130 and so on. Now on lyngsat its converted a different way. AMC 3, 6K is 11820. How do you convert that back down to the input freq?
Reason I am asking, I am trying to help a guy who is in Iraq set up a modem on W1@10E. This is what is on lyngsat 11526 V tp D4 HughesNet Europe.
