Room 1: DVR w/ Dual Channeling
Room2: Receiver
Room3: Receiver
Room4: Nothing Yet

What i wanna do is hook up a 3rd room with a DVR w/ duel channeling
is there a way i can do that.
I have a multiswitch model TWI5X8

I can get a signal from room 1 to room 4 whats on the dvr
How can i set it up to be able to hook up another dvr?

PLease let me know email: bluelightning2k1@aol.com

also if any way you can draw a diagram out i can do it from that also

Thanks,
Dan

You have everything you need with an 8 output switch assuming that you don't currently have HD service. You just need to run an additional cabling directly from the multiswitch to the second tuner (assuming that it is replacing the receiver that is currently there).

There is a one-to-one relationship between multiswitch outputs and satellite inputs on the receivers. You cannot "share" outputs or cables between tuners.

All four cables coming down from the dish go straight to the inputs of the multiswitch. No detours there either.

we just trying to put a dvr system in room 4, doesnt have a system in it at all

we just ran the out put the tv from the dvr system from room 1

so your saying run all the cables from the sat to the multi switch then split them off to the receivers?

Pretty much except we won't use the term "split". Splitting suggests the use of splitters which doesn't work in this kind of setup.

You don't have HD receivers of any kind, do you?
