My Pansat 2500 went down so I ordered a "New" Captive Works CW800.
I also bought a BSC621 LNB.
Right now I am using my 10 ft. dish as a stationary dish , until I replace my motor and arm. When I was using the stationary set up with my C band I was able to hit several sats by using my compass and changing my elevation..

I installed my BSC621 and hooked it up to my new receiver, but I do not get a signal.
I hooked up the coax via factory diagram in order to receive K/C over one single coax. No signal.

I then tried a short coax to the K band and a short coax to the C band. Still no signal.

Where I get confused is with the Diseqc switching.
When I hooked up a short coax to the K band connection and a short coax to the C band I connected those to a CW4 1 Diseqc Switch and then I ran One coax to my receiver.

I hooked up the C band to Lnb 1 and the K band to Lnb 2 on the Dis switch.
When I would scan I tried C band with the receiver Diseqc on one for C band and also tried Diseqc two for K band. Still no signal.

However, I did notice when I ran both C and K short coax cables and ran that to the 4-1 switch I could turn my dish and the satellite, that I was close to, would automaticly show up on my receiver. However, I still could not get a signal. I would auto scan and blind scan and could not get a signal.

One thing I will check is the coax cable that I am using now because it is not the same one I was using with my old C band system.

I know some of you are using the BSC621 and may be able to help me.

THANKS

First, there 2 BSC621 models, Standard Ku LNB and Universal Ku LNB.
Standard uses an internal 22KHz switch
Universal uses an internal DiSEqC Switch. Port 1 is C band, Port 2 is Ku

I would just connect for C Band only, no jumper cable, no other switches.

The ports you are speaking of would be on the LNB, is that correct?
The Switch is Internal, connect for C Band according to instructions, add the Ku Jumper later
LNB L.O. 5150
DiSEqC Port 1

Best to pick a Sat that has Both C & Ku. Get C Band going first, power off receiver and add the Ku jumper and set switch setting.

I tried a new coax and picked up a signal at once.
I am receiving a 77% signal strength on SAT MEX 5 C band..
When I Auto search or Blind Scan I do not pick up any programs or responders..

It may be my settings.

ON the 22KHZ I have scanned with that in all three positions (ON OFF Auto) still no transponders or programs.

On the Disq I have also tried in each position.
I get a strong signal strength but when I scan I get nothing.
Before my other receiver went down I picked up Sat Mex 5 C band very strong and received about 40 or more channels.

I must have something hooked up wrong or something.
While I am looking for help I am going to check everything again.
THANKS

Confirm you have the BSC621-2 It's a Universal Ku LNB.
For that you Do Not use 22KHz to switch from C to Ku, it has a built-in DisEqC Switch. Port 2 is Ku (I think)
LNB Type: Universal
Low L.O.: 9750
High L.O.: 10600
