need help with 97w

It is getting tough to get a better Quality for this satellite, I use Fortec 36' with Ivacom with Circular and Linear ports. I was ve been working hard this weekend with my Birdog to lock the bird, I got a strength of 75% down with O to 14% in quality. I live in the North East in CT. I plum the pole with the bubble and is a perfect 90. Found 95w with poor quality too, if anyone has experience with 36" Fortec dish and Ku satellites.

Did you set the skew correctly? Skew is very important in Ku band Linear.

yes I skew the ivacom a little

First make sure you have the LNB set up properly. Make sure you use standard or 10750 in the antenna setup. Then try tuning the dish using the following strong transponder;Freq 12151 H Symbol rate 20000 you should be able to get a nice strong signal with a 36" dish. Just remember to make small adjustments and be patient.
