Can anyone recommend a digital KU band receiver to watch "wild feeds" during the college football season. I have a 3 foot "portable" dish that I manually position (thus, no rotor) and a Uniden Supra Receiver - used to receive analog Ku signals.

Which receivers are the most sensitive at receiving the digital signal...or they all about the same?

Thanks for the help,

Mike

welcome :wave

A few I would recommend are the Fortec, Coolsat 4000 or Pansat 2500, 2700 or 3500

best thing to do is check the review section as a few of us have done some reviews.

I personally like the Pansat 3500. Will work great for the feeds :)

All about the same some are just faster.

I use/like the Fortec Lifetime Ultra, it also has AC3 audio+USALS

Thank you for the advise.

I read a bunch of reviews (including Iceberg's very informative review) and will probably purchase the Pansat 3500.

However, FTA Direct sells it for $200 and I have found it at other places for $150. Does FTA Direct ever "match" other prices? I would prefer to purchase the receiver from FTA Direct since it sponsors this board...

Thanks again for the help,

Mike

My BEC-1000 would lock onto channels that the fortec ultra will not. The problem with the BEC-1000 is that there is no Blind Search.
