There is now officially "unofficial" software to extract those recordings in a WINDOWS environment. I do not know of any for a linux/unix OS but you might be able to use the Windows program via Wine or the like. If you would like to try let me know (and point me to the proper forum to post it) and I will post it this weekend along with a file checksum.
