need a little help.

I was just wondering if anybody switched from Directv to Dishnetwork and have wished they hadn"t done it and for what reason? I currently have Directv HD (with no porblems) and am thinking of changing to dishnetwork HD.I can get all new equipment and discounts on programming.I"m just wondering what problems you may be having with the DVR? I'll be on the eastern arch. I know Directv has the most sports but I don't care about that,I get everything on my locals that I need. Any input on this from your experience will be helpful....THANKS
