NE PA waking up to Snow??

Well its quite a sight here in Newfoundland Pa this morning. Our First snowfall of the season. So far 5" and still snowing and fairly windy. The weather guys really screwed up on this one. Anyone else got snow in Eastern pa this morning?

We got some in Detroit yesterday, but not enough to stick. I guess the clouds saved it for you.

Yep exactly what I'm seeing . Not good for October.

Early snow or ice storms can devaste trees that still have leaves. But for us wood cutters there is that silver lining! Snow is in our f'cast as well, but I haven't seen anything yet. Supposed to warm-up for the weekend. Good thing as I still have about 2 cords to go in my expected wood input for this season...!

We know that well in our area. The "October Surprise" from two years ago forever changed the landscape of our area. It was a disaster that has cost millions and will not be forgotten by anyone that saw it.
