Really enjoyed it. I don't know the exact timeline, but Ducky came around too quickly.

Not really, when they started the show, the timeline was at seasons end of last year.
Yes, 4 months is quick for heart attacks, but you can be doing quite well in 4 months time.

Good premiere...although there wasn't much intrigue as to what happened to Ducky, and he was back in the office within days (certainly wasn't months).

It was months May (when his heart attack happened) to Sept (When the current episode aired). Watch it again and look at the dates at the bottom of the screen.
